Introduction

Prosthodontists diagnose and treat patients who have a broad spectrum of dental problems that range from individual restorations and crowns, to complex cases that not only restore broken down teeth, but markedly improve function, comfort, and aesthetics. Our advanced training has provided us with a comprehensive understanding of dental occlusion (interdigitation of the teeth). Restoring a tooth to function is more than placing a restoration. It involves understanding and evaluating the dynamic function of the teeth, adjacent soft tissue and bone, and facial neuromusculature.
